Barclays Wealth Appoints New Head of Private Banking In The Middle East

Barclays Wealth has appointed Soha Nashaat as head of Barclays Private Bank in the Middle East. Yesterday, WealthBriefing reported Ms Nashaat had left Merrill Lynch. She will have responsibility for managing Barclays existing high net worth business in the region, a key area of growth for the company. She will report to Michael Morley, managing director of Barclays International Private Bank. Ms Nashaat will commence her new role in September 2006 and will be based in Dubai.
